Refund Policy
Last updated 2026-08-17
14 days, no questions asked
If you buy Pro and it's not for you, email support@michaelchen.me within 14 days of your first purchase and we'll refund it in full — no questions asked. This applies to your first purchase of a plan; it isn't a standing offer on every renewal (see "Renewals," below).
How to request one
Email support@michaelchen.me from the address on your account and tell us you'd like a refund. We'll confirm and process it promptly. Purchases are billed through Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, so the refund itself is issued back to your original payment method through Paddle.
What happens after a refund
- Your plan reverts to Free — the unlimited deck allowance ends.
- Your decks stay exactly as they are. A refund never deletes anything.
- If you own more decks than the Free plan allows, you won't be able to create new decks until you're back under the limit — but nothing existing is removed or locked. You can still open, edit, present, export, and share every deck you already have; delete a deck (or upgrade again) to make room for a new one.
Renewals
Renewals aren't refunded under this policy — instead, cancel any time before your renewal date and we'll cancel the subscription rather than charge it again. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep Pro until then, and you're not billed again after.
Your statutory rights
If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, this policy doesn't take away your statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts — nothing here limits or replaces it. Where the law gives you a stronger right than the policy above, the law applies.
